MADEGASCAR
Das Projekt MADEGASCAR (Market development for gas driven cars) wird von der Europäischen Kommission gefördert. Ziel ist, die Marktentwicklung von erdgas- und bio-erdgasbetriebenen Fahrzeugen und die zunehmende Nutzung von alternativen und energieeffizienten Treibstoffen in den europäischen Ländern zu unterstützen.
Mögliche Hemmnisse sollen durch die Sensibilisierung von Verbrauchern, durch Schulung von Flottenbetreibern und Autohändlern und Information der Öffentlichkeit überwunden werden. Ein weiteres Ziel des Projektes ist die Verbesserung der Versorgungsinfrastruktur (Tankstellen) und die Einspeisung von Bio-Erdgas in das Erdgasnetz.
INTERACTION
INTERACTION aims to enhance logistics and freight transport performance by shippers to reduce energy consumption, CO2-emissions and transport costs. The project is part of the IEE (Intelligent Energy Europe) programme of the European Commission.

Das europäische Projekt Buy Smart bietet Leitfäden und Ausschreibungshilfen für die Beschaffung effizienter Bürogeräte, Fahrzeuge, Beleuchtung, Haushaltsgeräte und grünen Stroms. Außerdem werden kostenlose Beratungen zu energieeffizienter Beschaffung angeboten.
Biofuel Cities
hat die Aufgabe, eine "European Partnership", also eine Partnerschaft, zur Demonstration des breiten Einsatzes neuer und innovativer Biokraftstofftechnologien zu entwickeln. Das Projekt deckt alle Elemente der Versorgungskette ab, vom Anbau der Rohmaterialien über die Produktion der Biokraftstoffe bis hin zu deren Vertrieb und Einsatz in Verkehrsflotten. Die Biofuel Cities European Partnership soll als permanente Institution etabliert werden.
